Eat Smart Get Moving The 2007–2008 Eat Smart, Get Moving! (ESGM) Personal Wellness Program has concluded, with the top scoring teams in each team size category completing their "virtual walk of health," from Chicago (the site of School Nutrition Association's (SNA) 2007 Annual National Conference (ANC), to Philadelphia (the site of SNA's 2008 ANC.) However, the health benefits team members received and the behaviors they've changed haven't ended! With over 300 teams, totaling more than 3,200 participants, this year's program represents an impressive commitment to improve nutrition and get more physical activity.

The 30–week program took participants through progressive goals to help individuals gradually eat the recommended servings of Food Groups to Encourage (low–fat dairy, fruits and vegetables, and whole grains), plus increase their physical activity to 60 minutes per day. Sponsored by National Dairy Council® and the School Nutrition Association, the ESGM program provides tools and resources to help individuals meet their goals.Eat Smart Get Moving
